Description
TAO 1mini is the latest signal node to a new level for advanced use cases, not only for encoder, but also decoder. It expands the connectivity in a single unit including HDMI 2.0 and UVC IN & OUT, but also ethernet I/O. With HDMI 2.0 and UVC inputs for a 4K encoding and multi-protocol streaming by ethernet outputs. Vise versa, as a 4K decoder from ethernet inputs to HDMI 2.0 and UVC output. It comes with higher streaming bitrates; file recording; and much more. This device is ideal for high-quality live streaming of content including sports, education, and live events as well as IP-based production and AV-over-IP.

Key Features
The single-channel TAO 1mini can encode one live input source - either HDMI or UVC - or mix video from the HDMI and UVC inputs (picture-in-picture or side-by-side) into a combined output. Up to eight user-configurable overlays - including text, images, and a clock - can be applied to the output profile.
Flexible Formats and Protocols
TAO 1mini supports multiple video encoding formats - including H.264, H.265 (HEVC), NDI®|HX 2, NDI®|HX 3 and full NDI®- and a wide array of delivery protocols including RTMP, RTMPS, SRT, RTSP, RTP, HLS. Up to eight channels of audio can be encoded in AAC format.
Powerful Encoding & Streaming Capabilities
In Encoding mode, video can be encoded at resolutions up to 4096x2160 at 60 frames per second from HDMI sources, or up to 4096x2160 at 30 frames per second from the UVC input. TAO 1mini can stream to up to 32 different target destinations simultaneously at bitrates up to 32Mbps per stream, with TAO APP connection.
Leading Decoding Capabilities
In Decoding mode, TAO 1mini will automatically adapt the Full NDI®, NDI®|HX2 and NDI®|HX3 format as your end needs.TAO 1mini will take care of your 4Kp60 video transmission.
Versatile Recording and Streaming
TAO 1mini supports streaming and recording simultaneously. Inputs can be recorded as files to an external, USB-connected storage device or networked storage (NFS, CIFS or SMB).
USB Extension
TAO 1mini has both USB 3.0 Type-A and USB 3.0 Type-C interfaces for you to:
Access a Web Camera via USB 3.0 Type-A as a video input source for encoding;
Connect to your PC via USB 3.0 Type-C as a USB video input;
