Atomos Ninja Flame & Sony A7R III Shooting 4K HDR

Ninja Flame overcomes the display challenges of shooting Log, displaying the full brightness range on a field monitor for the first time, with true-to-life vibrant colors. It has a 7” 10-bit 1500nit panel with the AtomHDR engine and HDMI connections to record and playback video to 4K/HD 10-bit ProRes/DNxHR. From Atomos The Ninja Flame adds 4K recording direct to Apple ProRes or Avid DNxHR. Monitor and record Sony S-Log2, S-Log3 or HLG for excellent results, even in low light. Gain 4:2:2 recording over HDMI using an intra frame codec with much higher bitrates than recording internally. The camera was set in Super35 mode for the shoot. Zeiss Touit 12mm, Batis 25 and 85mm and Sony 70-200mm lenses were used. High shots were done with the Charter's Pole and the camera running IBIS, no additional gimbal was used.
