A Winning Combination! LaCie 1big Dock and Rugged SSD Pro

Chris Foreman of RedShark News recently reviewed the LaCie 1big Dock and Rugged SSD Pro and quickly found out that the products make a great combination. The LaCie 1big Dock, available in 4TB, 8TB, 10TB, 16TB, and 18TB, not only helps you safely store and backup footage, it can charge your phone and USB devices, let you offload files, connect pro 4K monitors, and power your laptop. Foreman used the 16TB drive version for his review. The Lacie Rugged SSD Pro is available in 1TB and 2TB. Rugged SSD Pro  fuses the blazing-fast Seagate FireCuda NVMe SSD with a Thunderbolt 3 interface, unleashing speeds 5× faster than traditional SATA SSDs so that you can play back and render the most demanding high bit rate RAW content—like 6K, 8K, and super slo-mo source files. "There’s room for improvement with the 1big, it may suit those not needing a full dock but where a combined card reader and external drive with additional connectivity would make sense. On the other hand the Rugged Pro SSD is something that could easily find it’s way into my pocket workflow."
