Solid, professional package with a lot of power and easy interchange between programs. A solid choice for Windows-based video editors for either SD or HD. Adobe has released its latest flagship product group for video editors, Production Studio Premium. The package includes Premiere Pro 2.0, After Effects 7.0, Audition 2.0, Encore 2.0, Photoshop CS2, Illustrator CS2, and the new Adobe Bridge, an integrated asset management tool. This group of products shares a more uniform interface and vastly increased amount of active data interchange, bringing the different tools together into an integrated suite. The Production Studio package is Windows only because Premiere Pro, Encore, and Audition are not available for the Mac. System requirements for the package depend in part on the type of editing you'll be doing. For DV-only editing, you can get by with a P4 1.4 GHz processor, but HDV editing requires a P4 3.4 GHz or faster. Full HD editing calls for dual-Intel Xeon 2.8 GHz processors or faster. Windows XP Pro or HE with Service Pack 2 is required. A minimum of 512 MB of RAM grows to 1 GB to run multiple applications and when using Adobe Dynamic Link; 2 GB is required for smooth HDV and HD editing. read more...
