AI-Powered Robotic Cameras Debut at the MLS All-Star Game

The MLS All-Star Game showcased a new way to capture live sports with AI-powered robotic cameras from Advanced Image Robotics (AIR). Six compact cameras were deployed around the field, using AI auto-follow technology to track players and team benches while providing unique camera angles that would be difficult or impossible to achieve with traditional broadcast equipment.

After successful testing at the Generation Adidas Cup and several MLS matches, AIR's system demonstrated how AI and remote production can expand live sports coverage. With fast setup, portable hardware, and flexible operation through AI or manual tablet control, the technology gives broadcasters new creative options while making professional production more accessible.
