AJA FS8 Brings SDI, ST 2110, Dante, and HDR Into One Media Processor

The new AJA FS8, introduced at IBC 2026, brings a wide range of professional video and audio processing capabilities into a single 1RU system for modern live production.

FS8 can process up to eight HD/2K channels or four 4K/UltraHD channels while providing 50 Gbps of IP throughput. Its support for SMPTE ST 2110 and SDI makes it possible to move video between traditional baseband equipment and newer IP production workflows.

Audio is equally flexible, with support for Dante, MADI, embedded SDI audio, ST 2110-30, and AES67, including the ability to route inputs to different outputs. The system also offers 4K ROI scaling and optional Colorfront Engine processing for SDR-to-HDR, HDR-to-SDR, and HDR format conversion.

For live production, sports, broadcast, and professional AV teams, AJA FS8 combines many of the conversion and processing tools needed for hybrid SDI and IP workflows into one compact platform.
