AJA Introduces DRM2-Plus: A Flexible 3RU Frame for Up to 24 Mini-Converters

As covered in this article, AJA Video Systems has unveiled the DRM2-Plus, a high-capacity 3RU rackmount frame designed to hold up to 24 AJA Mini-Converters. Ideal for pro AV, broadcast, film, and live production environments, the DRM2-Plus offers enhanced flexibility with four model options featuring active or passive cooling and single or redundant power supplies delivering up to 288W.

Building on the original DRM2, the new design includes a hinged faceplate and removable carriers, allowing users to easily update or swap Mini-Converters without disassembling the rack. The frame supports a mix of Mini-Con-X and Mini-XLR powered converters using AJA adapter accessories.
