Atomos Ninja TX Firmware Update Got Smarter

The Atomos Ninja TX and Ninja TX GO monitor-recorders have had a major firmware update, which brought integrated camera control to these CFexpress-based devices, announced at InterBEE 2025. The update transformed the Ninja TX series into smarter on-set tools, letting filmmakers control supported cameras from the larger HDR touchscreen rather than digging through tiny on-body menus. Building on the success of similar features introduced on the Shinobi II and Shinobi 7 RX, Atomos leveraged the Ninja TX series’ powerful onboard computer and Linux OS to roll out these capabilities quickly and as a free upgrade.
