Atomos Shogun 7 Upgraded to 3000nits, Boosts Nikon, Panasonic and Sony Capabilities

Atomos made a big splash at IBC2019 with the new firmware upgrade for the Shogun 7.

The Shogun 7 update includes a stunningly bright screen and new integrations with the Panasonic Lumix S1H, Sony FX9, and Nikon Z7 and Z6 Cameras.

The Shogun 7 monitor is getting a firmware update that will completely change the picture on the portable monitor recorder. The peak brightness has been boosted to 3000nits- a steady increase from the original 1500.

This firmware update is available now. Later this month, Atomos will also release Touch and Switch 5 streaming.
