Atomos Unveils Major NAB 2026 Lineup and Expands into Full Production Ecosystem

In this article for Church Production, Atomos unveils one of its most ambitious showcases yet at NAB Show 2026, marking a major shift in its role within the production industry. Known for its monitor-recorders, Atomos is now evolving into a full-scale ecosystem provider, delivering solutions that span from on-camera capture to postproduction and final delivery.

Leading the announcements is the new Atomos Sumo PRO-19, a 19-inch 4K HDR monitor-recorder-switcher designed for multi-camera workflows, on-set collaboration, and video village environments. With features like integrated Wi-Fi, Ethernet, camera-to-cloud connectivity, NDI HX3, and CFexpress recording, it acts as a central hub for modern productions. Atomos also continues to build out its popular Ninja lineup while expanding into live production with the Atomos Shogun AV-19, a rackmount solution ideal for broadcast, studio, and mobile production setups.

The company is also making significant strides in PTZ production with its A-Eye camera family and advanced control systems like the Atomos A-Eye Controller Pro. Supporting up to 254 cameras and multiple control protocols, this system is well-suited for houses of worship, education, and live event production. In addition, Atomos is expanding its ecosystem with new audio gear, accessories, and workflow tools designed to support real-world creator needs beyond just video capture.

On the software side, Atomos is enhancing its cloud platform, AtomoSphere, with new features like browser-based editing through AtomoSphere Editor and desktop integration via Ground Control. These tools help streamline workflows from capture to delivery, making cloud collaboration more accessible with built-in storage for new users.

A major highlight of the announcement is the acquisition of Flanders Scientific, a trusted name in professional reference monitoring. This move strengthens Atomos’ position in high-end production and postproduction workflows, giving users access to a complete monitoring pipeline—from on-camera tools to reference-grade displays for finishing and delivery. Together, these updates reinforce Atomos’ transformation into a comprehensive, end-to-end production technology provider.
