Amherst, NY (August 29, 2011) – ATTO Technology, Inc. today announced its ExpressSAS 6Gb/s SAS/SATA RAID Adapters have been selected by G-Technology by Hitachi, a leading manufacturer of external disk storage solutions designed for professional content creation applications, to provide high-performance connectivity for their G-SPEED™ eS Pro desktop drives. Using ATTO’s ExpressSAS 6Gb/s R680 RAID Adapter, G-Technology provides a solution that supports real-time HD and film production, including dual-stream uncompressed 10-bit 1080/60i and 2K DPX playback in RAID 5 protected mode.

ATTO’s line of 6Gb/s ExpressSAS RAID adapters achieve optimal performance in high-bandwidth environments through PCIe 2.0 and PCIe technology and offer an extensive range of RAID levels to meet exacting specifications required by high-performance video and film applications.
