Avid Adobe EditShare Oh My!

This year NAB is more exciting than ever. We are only a few days until the show officially kicks off, and we have already heard some breaking news in post production.

EditShare announced they are finally bringing Lightworks to the Mac platform. EditShare will be there demoing their latest offerings to thousands of editors yearning for another competitive NLE since demise of FCP7. I have been running Lightworks on my PC for some time. I even did a review of it here a while back. It is a very viable platform to edit on. It will be interesting to see what they have to offer.

Adobe announced today a glimpse of what to expect at NABShow. They have had major updates to Premier Pro and After Effects with new workflows. They have updated expanded their support of media formats, and increased the color workflows with LumetriTM Deep Color Engine. They have also announced Adobe Anywhere for video. This is a collaborative workflow platform that empowers teams using Adobe professional video tools to work together, enabling the access and management of centralized media and assets across virtually any network.
