At NAB this year we talked to Alan Hoff about what is new for Avid this year. One of their big announcements were the Avid Media Composer software updates. Avid has always been improving their extensive software line and now with a new re-branding of their software comes new subscription opportunities and features with their software. Avid has introduced three new subscription tiers for media composer, Pro tools and Sibelius. These tiers are first, which is completely free and available for download from the avid website. The next tier is the standard software, this tier offers more functionally to help you tackle increasingly complex projects. The last tier is Ultimate, with unparalleled collaboration tools, connectivity and game-changing features, you and your team can increase productivity and accelerate your workflows.
