BirdDog O4 Gives Aragón TV More Flexibility for Outdoor Live Production

Outdoor broadcasting often means balancing professional image quality with the need to deploy cameras quickly and keep infrastructure manageable. Aragón TV found a new option with the BirdDog O4 outdoor PTZ camera.

During the Fiestas del Ángel in Teruel, O4 cameras were positioned around the city’s main square using a streamlined PoE++ setup that carried power, video, and control over Ethernet. Aragón TV could bring feeds into its outside broadcast vehicle over NDI while simultaneously sending SRT video back to Zaragoza for its OTT platform.

The O4 cameras also provided remote control, detailed color adjustment for matching other broadcast cameras, and AI tracking. They remained powered and operating for several days during the production.
