Archiving is the permanent storage of your files that you can’t live without. REWIND™ utlizes scratch resistant Blu-ray discs for long term reliable, secure storage.

You can keep your archive going forever. REWIND™ will continue to burn to the Blu-ray disc until it’s full, then it will span to multiple discs to allow you to grow your archive.

The Restore app is burned right on the disc! Restore to any computer by just inserting your archived disc and running the Restore app from the disc, no software installation required.

From the start REWIND™ was developed with user experience in mind. The result is a powerful 3-step archiving system. Easy enough for mom to use, but powerful enough for the most advanced users.

Smart File and Folder Tracking

REWIND™ automatically keeps track of the files and folders selected for archive. We built a robust database system that keeps track of all your archived music, pictures, videos, and other files so keeping your files up to date in the archive is a breeze.

File tracking keeps your individually selected files up to date in the archive. REWIND™ scans the archive to find any files that have been updated, and then makes sure they get updated on the Blu-ray disc the next time you update your archive.

Folder tracking will track changes such as new files or folders added to the tracked folder. When you select all the items in a folder, REWIND™ will start tracking the entire folder for future archive updates.

Drag and Drop File Selection

Files and folders dragged into REWIND’s file browser are automatically selected to be archived and will be monitored for udpates by REWIND™.

Users with files across multiple Hard Drives or files in many different places may find it more convenient to drag the files or folders into the REWIND™ File Browser rather than select the files from within REWIND™. That’s ok!

Drag-n-drop all the files and folders you want to add to your archive and REWIND™ will take care of the rest.

Easily Update Archives and Span Multiple Discs

With REWIND™ it’s easy to update your archive as your digital assets grow. You can keep your archive going forever. REWIND™ will continue to burn the Blu-ray Disc until it’s full, then it will span to multiple discs to allow you to grow your archive.

Keeping your data accessable is important. We burn the Restore tools to the disc the very first time you archive to the disc. Each intermediate burn keeps the archive updated, and you can restore your data at any time.

Span Multiple Blu-ray Discs

Continue your archive forever by updating the archive often! Once your Blu-ray disc is full, REWIND™ automatically will span to a new disc, keeping track of all the files on each disc. Simply label your disc and file away.

Finish Later - Pause Your Archive Mid-burn

We know you have a busy schedule, but you still want all your files safely archived. That’s why we built REWIND™ with a unique Finish Later feature, to pause your archive mid-burn and let you finish the archive later, picking up right where you left off.

Restore Anywhere

Control your own restore. Easily restore to any computer by simply inserting your archive disc and running the Restore app from the disc, no software installation required!

With the same user friendly interface as the REWIND™ archive application, it’s easy to select files, folders, or the entire archive to restore.

Have a large archive that spans multiple discs? No problem! Simply insert the last disc in the archive and the restore application shows you the files across all your discs. Select the files you want to restore and then the application will request the discs by name, when needed.

REWIND™ is an easy to use data storage application to archive all your digital assets. The best backup solution is creating a permanent archive. REWIND™ allows you to easily and permanently back-up and restore all your photos, movies and digital assets.

We demonstrate a simple personal archive of photos. You can browse your entire computer through the simple to use browser built into REWIND™ and select the files you want to archive.

Once the files are selected, REWIND™ burns these files permanently to Blu-ray disc. DIGISTOR™ Blu-ray writable discs are great for long term storage because of their scratch resistant coating and high resistance to light. This gives them a shelf life that lasts longer than a CD, DVD, and Hard Drive combined.
