Broadcasting Milestone: PTZOptics Supports Africa’s First IP-Driven Media Center

A major milestone in African broadcasting has been achieved with the launch of a fully IP-based production facility in Nairobi, featuring PTZOptics cameras at its core.

Cape Media Ltd. and Radio 47 have introduced a next-generation broadcast environment that seamlessly merges radio, TV, live streaming, and remote production. The system is built on Lawo’s broadcast infrastructure and was spearheaded by Mediacity Ads.

PTZOptics cameras are central to the project’s success, offering reliable, automated video solutions that support the demands of modern, multi-platform broadcasting.
