Case Study: Panasonic AU-EVA1 Cinema Cameras for Worship Video

Life Church, Wisconsin is a multi site church founded in 2000. It has four campuses and 2,300 congregants. It is growing at a rapid rate, so their AV setup recently needed to be updated to the latest and greatest for live streaming between all four locations. The key technology to their setup was the Panasonic AU-EVA1.

SVConline recently created a great article spotlighting this workflow, we're taking a look at some of the finer points below.

Social distancing measures were put in place last year, meaning the church had to quickly rethink it's approach to technology, in regards to delivering a strong worship service.

Luckily, Life Church already had some experience in professional camera systems, and knew what aspects to look at to prepare their stream.  The Panasonic AU-EVA1 was a great solution that med most of the needs of a cinematic, modern looking worship experience.

“Technology is the stained glass of the 21st century; it’s what we use today to paint a picture and artistically tell the story of the gospel. And in times like these, where people are not even coming inside buildings, this couldn’t be more true.  When the pandemic hit, we knew something would shift in the church world. So it was inevitable that video and satellite campuses were going to be part of the equation.”
-Nando Herrera, executive director of weekend experience at Life Church
