Updated GUI, customizable workspace options, and integration features make this update a worthwhile investment. Animation templates are one of the many new improvements in After Effects 7.0 Pro. The templates include presets for animating text, effects, transitions, backgrounds, and behaviors. After Effects 7.0 Pro, the latest version since After Effects 6.5, is a solid new release that is somewhat overshadowed by the complementary debut of Adobe Production Studio. That's because Production Studio Premium is a breakthrough in which new releases of After Effects, Premiere Pro, Audition, and Encore all come out of the box like Agent Smith in The Matrix  they all look alike. Yes, Adobe has finally created a truly integrated product line, a project in development for several years. With the exception of After Effects, Adobe Bridge, Illustrator, and Photoshop, Production Studio is Windows-only, so Mac users are on the outs for the integration features. However, there are still many new other features that will make an upgrade to the new After Effects 7.0 Pro release an obvious decision.
