Epiphan EC20 Firmware Update Adds Tally Control, Better Presets, and Audio Monitoring

Epiphan has released EC20 firmware 3.6.44, bringing several workflow improvements directly into the camera’s web interface. Users can now control the built-in tally light, choose its color, and manage these settings without a third-party controller.

The update also introduces a redesigned preset interface that makes it easier to create, organize, and preview saved positions before recalling them. Any preset can now be used as the starting position for Auto Tracking. For Panopto users, live audio monitoring helps confirm that sound is working before a recording or stream begins, reducing the need for test recordings.

Additional improvements include more reliable standby behavior and a new logout option in the WebUI.
