Facebook & Microsoft to bring VR to the Xbox One & Windows

It looks to me like there is going to be an explosion of demand for VR content in the not to distant future. While the big companies like Google, GoPro Facebook & Microsoft are leading the way, we're also seeing a bundh of startups and tech visioaries attempting to bring VR content creation to the masses. Business Insider by Dave Smith Facebook and Microsoft just announced a monumental deal in virtual reality Facebook-owned Oculus VR held its big "Step Into The Rift" event on Thursday, where it introduced a monumental new deal with Microsoft as it prepares to launch the first consumer version of the Oculus Rift, its virtual reality headset, early next year. Not only will the first Oculus Rift come with an Xbox One controller and Xbox adapter so you can play your Xbox One games through your VR headset, but Xbox chief Phil Spencer also announced Oculus will support Windows 10 right out of the box.
