I had the opportunity to participate in Avid Connect, and I think it has become one of the most important events around NAB. If you're in media production, you need to join the ACA and attend next year. The sessions are great, Avid gives you great insight into the direction they are leading the industry down and oh the people you meet! It's like a who's who of post production, audio and video editing. I'm proud to be included in the video!

Avid Blogs by Keli Callaghan The following day began with a captivating opening keynote from Louis Hernandez, Jr., Avid Chairman, President, and CEO, where he revealed the next phase of Avid Everywhere, along with plans to expand the media ecosystem to all storytellers. Attendees witnessed firsthand the introduction of several product innovations including the VENUE | S6L, ISIS | 1000, Interplay | MAM 5, Media Composer | First, the new Sibelius, and the Artist DNxIO. The crowd’s excitement towards these new products carried over into the networking lunch where the room was full with buzz and eager conversation. Next, industry-specific breakout sessions were held throughout the rest of the day focusing on Video Creative Teams and Individual Artists, Media Enterprises, Audio Creative Teams and Individual Artists, and Community Engagement in the Ecosystem.
