How BirdDog Technology Is Expanding Access to Medical Training
Share

BirdDog's video technology is helping bring advanced medical education to a wider audience through live surgical broadcasts. During a recent AGORA program session, BirdDog MAKI Live and X1 Ultra cameras were used with the Remedi platform to stream a live surgical procedure to participants in real time.
The setup allowed attendees to follow the operation as it unfolded, providing direct access to expert instruction from Associate Professor Alex Ades. By connecting operating theatres with remote audiences, the technology helps bridge geographic barriers and supports more interactive learning opportunities for healthcare professionals.
As medical institutions continue adopting connected video workflows, solutions like BirdDog Remedi are creating new possibilities for remote education, surgical observation, and professional training without requiring participants to be physically present in the operating room.
