How NETGEAR Powers AV Connectivity Across Global Village Dubai

Behind the attractions, performances, and cultural experiences at Global Village Dubai is a massive technology infrastructure that needs to stay connected throughout the venue.

As its AV requirements expanded, the existing 1G network could no longer provide the capacity needed for a growing number of IP-based amplifiers, speakers, and control systems. Global Village worked with Adeco Technologies to deploy a new NETGEAR 10G network infrastructure built for greater speed, reliability, and scalability.

NETGEAR M4350 switches provide a redundant 10G core and distribution backbone, while M4250 switches connect AV equipment throughout the park. The deployment also includes WAX610 and WBE710 wireless access points, providing reliable Wi-Fi and seamless roaming for technicians managing systems across the property.

The upgraded network now keeps Global Village's background music and AV systems interconnected while providing additional capacity for future expansion.

For large live entertainment venues, the project shows why the network has become such an important part of modern AV. A properly designed infrastructure can keep today's systems running reliably while providing the flexibility to support whatever comes next.
