JVC Professional Video NAB Announcements

JVC Professional Video introduced several new entry-level solutions at this years NAB Show. These new products are aimed at smaller production teams―such as college sports broadcasters, local news OTA stations and houses of worship. Here is a look at their new products.

RM-LP5G - Compact Joystick PTZ Controller

This compact joystick controller connects to your network and provides complete IP control of cameras in your facility or anywhere in the world through the internet.

Key Features

• 5 camera / 5 preset PTZ cameras with 2-axis joystick and zoom bridge control.
• Supports VISCA, UDP, PELCO P/D control protocols over RS422, RS485, RS232 and IP
• 4 color LED multi-screen display supports easy set up and operation
• Available April 2023 and only be offered in a bundle with 2 PTZ cameras

RM-LP350G CONNECTED CAM vMix Control Surface

Desktop vMix control surface adds tactile controls and a traditional production switching interface to a vMix GO or any system running vMix software.

• Works with the KM-IP8 Studio Computer to enable traditional style switching.
• Low-Profile Transition Fader
• Supports selectable PGM/PVW 4 groups of 12 downstream key settings
• 12-channel PGM and PVW switching preview

KM-HD6 CONNECTED CAM six-input switcher

Full featured desktop 6-input HD switcher with USB streaming.

Key Features

• Six input channels with four SDI and two HDMI
• Two 3G/HD/SD-SDI and one HDMI PGM (Program) output, one SDI AUX output, and one each HDMI and SDI multiview output
• USB Type-C output allows you to stream video with embedded audio to any platform, such as YouTube, Facebook Live, Zoom, etc.
• Auto/Cut transitions, and Mix/Fade/Wipe effects
• Adjustable PiP/PoP window size and position
• Audio mixer with 3.5mm and RCA audio input and output, along with USB Type-C, HDMI, and SDI embedded audio
