Lessons for Premiere Pro CC 2014 version

At the request of many of my YouTube subscribers I?m posting a series of free lessons for Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014. I especially prefer using this package for editing GoPro Hero3 video, since it will accept any frame rate or video size I throw at it (including 2.7K and 4K formats). I?ve used Premiere since the mid 1990s, and have come to love this very easy to use (but sometimes a bit confusing) video editing suite. This is an ongoing labor of love that may take some time to populate. I?m starting my lesson uploads in late August, 2014, and will continue until I (and the viewers) have covered as many topics as necessary. Part 1 ? Creating a Project ? Setting a Workspace in Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014
In this short segment we look at how to create a new project and set a workspace.
Part 2 ? Importing Video, Audio, Photos
In this segment we learn how to import video, audio and photos into the media library and organize them in bins.
Part 3 ? Creating a Sequence or Timeline ? Basic Editing of Video Clips
In this segment we make a sequence or timeline, we edit a few clips, creating in and out points, then we pull them onto the timeline. I include a good bit of commentary about sequences and how they work, as well as how they can be manipulated in Premiere Pro.
Part 4 ? Rearranging clips, Ripple Delete, Zooming, and Transitions
In this segment we continue to edit video clips, learn how to eliminate or delete gaps in our video timeline with the ?ripple delete? command, learn how to zoom in on parts of our clips in the timeline, and learn how to add transitions to make our clips flow together. We also learn how to rearrange video clips.
Part 5 ? Color Correction, Brightness/Contrast filter, Fast Color Corrector tool
In this segment we make some color adjustments to our video clips, using brightness contrast filter and the fast color corrector tool. This helps liven and balance the video to make it pop, and compensates for the color limitation of our camera devices.
Part 6 ? Editing Audio, Adding Music Track
In this segment we begin to edit audio. You?ll learn how to mute an unwanted audio track and then add a music bed track ? or sound track file. This is the same way you would add a voice-over. I also show how to boost the gain or loudness of the audio file if it needs to be beefed up a little.
Part 7 ? Adding B-roll video & Default Transitions
In this segment we learn to overlay B-Roll vide ? or add video to a second track over the top of existing video. We also learn how to add default transitions simply by right-clicking over the end of the video clip.
Part 8 ? Creating and Adding Titles
In this segment we create a title to overlay our video. We use the Title Editor to see how to add text, lower third boxes and other graphics, and we see how to use text styles included with Premiere Pro. You?ll also see how to change the text color, drop shadows, justification and more.
Part 9 ? Blending and Crossfading Audio, Constant Power
In this segment we learn how to fade audio out at the end of a clip or timeline. We also learn how to cross fade two audio sources together with the ?Constant Power? effect.
Part 10 ? How To Export Video for YouTube, Blu-Ray Disc or DVD
In this segment we learn how to export video with h.264 video compression. I use a setting that is typically way higher quality than what is required for YouTube, but this quality would still work for YT, and would be excellent for output to blu-ray disc.
