WFXT Boston 25 News partnered with LiveU at Gillette Stadium during the “Road to 26” match, using the LU800 bonded cellular encoder to maintain seamless live streaming in a high-density environment. With over 63,000 fans in attendance, network congestion could have disrupted coverage, but LiveU’s LIQ™ technology dynamically selected the best-performing cellular networks to ensure stable, uninterrupted transmission.

The production team successfully streamed multiple camera feeds, including main, cutaway, and bump shots, back to the control room using a single LU800 unit. This real-world performance highlights how reliable bonded cellular technology is essential for live sports broadcasting, especially as broadcasters prepare for large-scale global events like the 2026 World Cup.
