Matrox® Video Products Group today announced support for the upcoming release of Adobe® Creative Suite® 6 Production Premium and Adobe Mercury Transmit with the Matrox MXO2 family of I/O devices and the Matrox Mojito MAX I/O card. The award-winning Matrox I/O products provide broadcast-quality video and audio input, output, and monitoring to enable traditional tape-based workflows including deck control for frame-accurate batch capture and print-to-tape. They are also the only I/O solutions on the market that let users encode H.264 files for delivery to the web, iPad, and iPhone up to five times faster than software alone without sacrificing quality. In addition, MXO2 devices provide cross-platform Mac and Windows support and are still the only solutions that connect anywhere, Mac and PC, via Thunderbolt, PCIe, or ExpressCard/34 – with the same versatile unit.
“The combination of Adobe Creative Suite 6 Production Premium with Matrox MXO2 I/O devices will provide users with incredible performance gains and cross-platform support,” said Al Mooney, product manager, professional video solutions at Adobe. “Support for this variety of platforms gives editors the versatility to deliver top quality video results.”
“Broadcasters worldwide have standardized on Matrox I/O solutions for use in the studio, in OB vans, and on set,” said Alberto Cieri, senior director of sales and marketing at Matrox. “Combined with the upcoming Adobe Creative Suite 6, our customers can now take advantage of greater editing speed and precision along with Matrox MAX H.264 acceleration to deliver news faster than ever.”
The Matrox MXO2 devices and the Mojito MAX card will be demonstrated at NAB 2012 in booth SL5115. Adobe CS6 Production Premium will be demonstrated at NAB 2012 in booth SL2624.
