Matrox Monarch EDGE 4K encoders now available
Matrox® Video announced on July 15, 2019 that the long awaited Matrox Monarch EDGE 4K UHD/multi-HD, low-latency encoders are shipping from Montreal, Quebec. These powerful Monarch EDGE encoders can handle up to 3840x2160p 60fps or quad 1920x1080p 60fps video with 3G/12G-SDI and SMPTE ST 2110 25 GbE connections with multi-protocol streaming options. The Monarch EDGE 4:2:0 8-bit encoder is perfect for streaming professionally and for OTT delivery. The Monarch EDGE 4:2:2 10-bit encoder is for remote production and remote integration (REMI) workflows.
Webcasting
Featuring an H.264 encoding engine, users can create over 16 stream at the same time! These include YouTube, Facebook, Vimeo, Linkedin, and loads more. Also the Matrox Monarch EDGE uses high frame rate 4k, 4k 360 VR, and multi camera set ups.
REMI
Use multiple camera setups with ease while decreasing costs! Keep your talent and crew in studio. The Monarch EDGE low power REMI encoder can produce up to four synced and secure camera feeds over an IP to and in house or cloud based production system! Therefore, accomplishing fewer product staff , less equipment, and lowering travel costs.
High Density Contribution
Easily add back haul feeds or redundant contribution channels to primary feeds. The Matrox Monarch EDGE uses a small footprint, low power appliance which can produce four 4:2:2 10-bit broadcasts. Also simultaneously run 4:2:0 proxy streams for each of its inputs.
