Matrox Monarch EDGE Encoder Enables Multi-Camera Viewing Experience for Vans Showdown

Professional skateboarding fans want live coverage of their favorite sports to be able to capture the unpredictability. The Matrox Monarch EDGE encoders are up to the task.

Because of the Monarch Edge's ability to receive multiple HD feeds and composite them into a quad-split stream make it perfect to stream the Vans Showdown skateboarding competition.

The competition is a part of the Vans US Open of Surfing, which is held from July 27th to August 4th in Huntington Beach, California.

While the event was going on, fans were able to tune in via their smart phones, desktops and smart devices at the Vans US Open official website. This stream was made possible by the Matrox Monarch EDGE.
