WINDOWS DRIVERS FOR MOTU PCI CAPTURE DEVICES INCLUDE SUPPORT FOR PREMIERE PRO CS5.5
MOTU is now shipping a complete Windows driver package for its HDX- SDI and HD Express PCI-based video capture and monitoring devices.
The new download package is available to all users at motu.com and delivers comprehensive support for Adobe® Premiere Pro® CS5 on Windows 7 and Vista, including forward compatibility with CS5.5 when it ships later this spring. Advanced features include support for the blazing fast Premiere Pro Mercury Playback Engine™, machine control for batch capture and edit to tape operations, and support for LTC and SDI embedded time code.
"The HDX-SDI and HD Express now serve as complete HD and SD capture and monitoring solutions for Windows Premiere Pro users running on a desktop PC, laptop or both, " said Jim Cooper, Director of Marketing at MOTU. "Users can choose a wide range of workflows, from compressed SD to full 10-bit uncompressed HD at rates up to 1080p30. Users who take advantage of the Mercury Playback Engine can work with an even broader range of codecs and workflows, thanks to Mercury's real-time rendering capabilities."
In booth SL4511, MOTU is demonstrating the HDX-SDI and HD Express capture devices on both desktop and laptop PC systems running Premiere Pro CS5.5.
MOTU is also demonstrating calibrated monitoring on the HP DreamColor™ display via 10-bit RGB HDMI output from the HD Express.
