NAB Show 2020 Canceled for COVID-19 Pandemic
NAB Show 2020 has officially been canceled this year in Vegas.
In the interest of addressing the health and safety concerns of our stakeholders and in consultation with partners throughout the media and entertainment industry, we have decided not to move forward with NAB Show in April. We are currently considering a number of potential alternatives to create the best possible experience for our community.
Gordon H. Smith | President and CEO of NAB
After having dozens of companies like Avid, Adobe, Fox, Nikon, AJA, G-Technology, and a lot more, NAB has decided to close their doors for this year's Vegas NAB Show 2020. Concern over Coronavirus and it's rapid spread in public areas like cons, movie theaters, and places of public transportation has driven this decision.
The Vegas NAB Show 2020 is always a major attraction for either those looking to network, communicate, or simply learn about what's new within the industry. Having it canceled has certainly put a damper on many, including Videoguys.
"...Keeping the community safe and healthy is NAB’s highest priority; therefore, we are deferring to the developing consensus from public health authorities on the challenges posed by Coronavirus.
