The DTE recorder then connects directly to editing systems through FireWire, allowing video professionals to edit content directly from the device. The following DTE Recorders are on display throughout NAB2007: FS-4 HD: The portable FS-4 HD and FS-4Pro HD provide HDV and DV camcorder owners with streamlined workflow from acquisition to editing. Available in 60GB (4.5 hours), 80GB (6 hours) or 100GB (7.5 hours) models, FS-4 HD and FS-4Pro HD are the ideal solution for use with popular DV and HDV camcorders from Sony, JVC, Canon, and Panasonic. FS-C HD: The FS-C HD60 and FS-C HD100 portable DTE recorders are designed for use with the acclaimed Canon XL H1 HDV camcorder. Capable of recording 4.5 hours (FS-C HD60) or 7.5 hours (FS-C HD100) of 1080i HD or DV video, these devices can be mounted directly to the XL H1 using the included camera mount hardware and now include QuickTime HDV 1080i/50, 60, 24F, 25F and 30F recording capabilities. DR-HD100: The DR-HD100 DTE recorder features extensive integration with JVC’s GY-HD100 and HD200/250 series of ProHD camcorders and is capable of recording 6 hours (60GB model) or 10 hours (100GB) of 720p HD, as well as standard definition DV. QuickTime HDV support of 720p24, 25 and 30 is now standard. FS-100: Designed specifically for the popular Panasonic AG-HVX200 P2 camera/recorder, the FS-100 DVCPRO HD DTE recorder extends recording time to 200 minutes in native frame rates, as well as provides a back-up to P2 cards. The FS-100 supports QuickTime or P2 DVCPRO HD and DVCPRO 50 recordings as well as DVCPRO/DV recording in one of 10 different DTE formats. FS-3 and DR-DV5000: The FS-3 and DR-DV5000 bring DTE disk recording performance to the field by mounting directly to full-sized DV camcorders. The DR-DV5000 offers extensive integration with JVC’s GY-5000U/5100U camcorders. Both models are ideal for ENG, EFP, videography, and other portable applications.
