NETGEAR Launches Align Controller to Simplify AV-over-IP Network Management

NETGEAR has officially introduced the NETGEAR Align™ Controller, a new platform designed to simplify the deployment, management, and scaling of AV-over-IP networks. As AV environments continue to grow in complexity, the Align Controller aims to reduce infrastructure requirements by consolidating multiple network services into a single solution.

The platform combines critical services including PTPv2 Grandmaster, Boundary Clock, NTP, Syslog, DNS, and DHCP, allowing organizations to replace multiple devices with a single appliance. By reducing hardware requirements and rack space, the Align Controller helps streamline installations while simplifying ongoing network management.

NETGEAR says the new platform is designed to improve reliability and operational efficiency for AV professionals managing increasingly sophisticated IP-based environments across enterprise, education, broadcast, and live event applications.
