NETGEAR M4350 Firmware Adds MLAG for More Reliable AV-over-IP
Share

The latest NETGEAR M4350 firmware 14.0.9.10 adds MLAG support, bringing new redundancy options to demanding AV-over-IP, broadcast, and live production networks.
MLAG allows compatible M4350 switches to use active-active uplinks, helping keep network traffic moving if a link or switch goes down. It can also improve multicast network design while supporting the precise PTP timing required by workflows such as AES67 and SMPTE ST 2110.
Unlike traditional M4350 stacking, MLAG provides a way to add redundancy without giving up PTP functionality.
For production teams building NDI, SDVoE, or ST 2110 networks, the new firmware makes the M4350 platform even more flexible for high-bandwidth, mission-critical AV workflows.
