New at NAB: StudioCoast Systems Announces vMix Control Surface

vmixcsStudioCoast Systems, Inc. announces the release of a tactile, hardware control surface for vMix and vMix-based system configurations. Bringing a traditional hardware switching configuration to the vMix user interface gives directors and producers a familiar and powerful front end controller for vMix in live event productions. “I shoot live dance and music events on a vMix GO configuration. In a hectic live event situation where I'm personally controlling remote cameras, switching the shots and keeping up with social media, the vMix Control Surface streamlines the workflow into simple key-presses. It's an essential piece of equipment that makes the whole process work smoothly.” Said Andy Mogg, founder of Dancing Images Photography & Videography in San Francisco. Combine up to twelve inputs for quick access with Preview/Program and Overlay capability. Additional controls include four vMix Overlay Downstream Keyers and two vMix configurable transitions with a Take button. A velvet-smooth T-Bar completes the controller allowing clean, adjustable fades and wipes. “We designed the vMix Control Surface with the ongoing vision of democratizing live production by bringing powerful, high quality, professional tools in at aggressive price points.” Said Martin Sinclair, vMix Founder. vMix Control Surface is shipping at the end of April through vMix resellers worldwide http://www.vmixhd.com/resellers.aspx. See the new Control Surface at NAB in Las Vegas from April 13th-16th along with vMix GO and vMix Thunder configurations. vMix systems can be seen at the following booth locations; vMix (C12326), AJA (SL2505) and Acme Portable Machines (SL5030). In addition, a vMix GO / Control Surface combination will be used to switch Teradek's live streaming coverage of NAB 2015 (C6025).
