New Epiphan Pearl Firmware 4.23.1 Brings Updates for USB Lights, Delcom Buttons and More
Firmware 4.23.1 brings the following minor improvements to Pearl systems:
USB status lights
New personalization options that allow adjustments to the color settings of connected USB ‘on air’ status lights.
Delcom USB buttons
Users of Panopto, Yuja, or Opencast can now pause and resume recordings with the convenience of a programmable Delcom USB button.
LDAP user credentials
Resolved an issue with LDAP where certain characters in user credentials, specifically backslashes (\\), double quotes (“), and hash symbols (#), were not being properly escaped.
Multi-track recorders
The recording and streaming indicator lights will now show the recording and streaming status of the device, when using multi-track recorders.
Firmware 4.23.1 is available as a free update for all Pearl Nexus, Pearl Mini, Pearl Nano, and Pearl-2 systems. To install, download to your device with a free Epiphan Edge™ account which gives you cloud control of your devices, or update with the local web UI on your device.
