SmallHD Releases New Monitors

SmallHD has been making some quality accessories for the indie filmmaker and videographer. Taking on competitors like Atomos and Convergent Design, they’ve just expanded their 700 series of 7-inch, on-camera monitors, with the more cost effective 701 Lite and 702 Lite monitors.
Where as the 702 Lite has SDI/HDMI inputs, the 701 Lite is an HDMI-only unit. The original 702 Bright monitor boasts a 1920 x 1080 display with 1000 nits in brightness, while the Lite versions run at a respectable 1280 x 720 display at 450 nits of brightness...[continue reading]
