Q. Can you tell us a little about your background and how you got into cinematography and filmmaking?
A. I began producing wedding films while I was working in the broadcast field. I wasn't earning what I wanted doing production for various television stations and was looking to supplement my income. While assisting a wedding DJ friend during one of his gigs in 1998, I started observing the videographer. He wasn't doing a very good job in my opinion and I was convinced I could do better. It wasn't until I inquired how much he was earning for that wedding that I realized just how lucrative the wedding industry could be. I knew right then and there I could earn far more and produce a far better product. It wasn't out of arrogance, I just knew I could employ better techniques and achieve a more desirable look.
· Q. Tell us a little bit about your role at Rob Adams Films.

We were shooting with standard-definition video cameras and I always knew I wanted to steer towards being more of a cinematography company. It wasn't until the Canon 5DM2 rolled-out that I was able to make that happen.
