Q. Can you tell us a little about your background and how you got into cinematography and filmmaking?
A. I began producing wedding films while I was working in the broadcast field. I wasn't earning what I wanted doing production for various television stations and was looking to supplement my income. While assisting a wedding DJ friend during one of his gigs in 1998, I started observing the videographer. He wasn't doing a very good job in my opinion and I was convinced I could do better. I knew right then and there I could earn far more and produce a far better product. It wasn't out of arrogance, I just knew I could employ better techniques and achieve a more desirable look.
· Q. Tell us a little bit about your role at Rob Adams Films.
A. I started Rob Adams Film in 2006 after working for another studio as one of its primary shooters and head editor. At that time, it was called Rob Adams Productions. We were shooting with standard-definition video cameras and I always knew I wanted to steer towards being more of a cinematography company. It wasn't until the Canon 5DM2 rolled-out that I was able to make that happen.
· Q. So how did you hear about NewBlueFX?
A. I've pretty much tried every color-grading/effects software on the market and none have given me the simplicity and efficiency of NewBlue Color Fixer Plus. read more...
