Panasonic at IBC: PTZ Firsts, 4K Compact Switcher and More

Among many announcements from IBC 2019, Panasonic rolled out a ton of new PTZ tools.

Panasonic has been the leading name in PTZ Cameras for ten years now. At the show, the company displayed the widest ever range of PTZ robotic camera solutions. Attendees were able to see the latest cameras and controllers in action.

New PTZ Developments

One of Panasonics newest developments in PTZ Cameras is their AW-UE4. This is a PTZ Camera with an ultra-wide angle lens. The device has a 111 ° field of view. It is also capable of output through three interfaces including: HDMI, LAN and USB.

Panasonic also announced the Panasonic 4K PTZ AW-UE150 Camera. The camera includes the adoption of the FreeD protocol. It is also the first PTZ Camera to be compatible with virtual reality or virtual set applications.
