Panasonic KAIROS v2: Combining Live Video Switching and Display Control in One Platform

Panasonic's KAIROS v2 is a next-generation live video production platform designed to simplify workflows for rental, staging, and live event professionals. Traditionally, productions required separate systems for live switching and screen management, but KAIROS v2 brings both together into a single, GPU-powered solution. This allows production teams to manage live video feeds while simultaneously controlling LED walls, projectors, and displays of any size or resolution, reducing complexity and streamlining setup for events ranging from corporate presentations to large-scale concerts.

The platform’s GPU-based architecture enables flexible resource allocation, meaning operators can dedicate full power to a single large production or distribute it across multiple simultaneous events. KAIROS v2 also supports a wide range of workflows, including IP-based production with ST 2110 and IPMX, as well as traditional SDI and HDMI connectivity through modular I/O cards. By combining production switching and display management into one system, Panasonic positions KAIROS v2 as a scalable, all-in-one solution for modern live video environments.
