Share

Panasonic has released KAIROS Version 2, a major update to its software-defined live production platform, introducing new features designed for broadcast, corporate, and live event workflows. Built on a GPU-based architecture, KAIROS continues to expand its flexibility with new HDMI I/O options, enhanced scene management, and improved multi-screen production capabilities.
One of the biggest additions is support for new HDMI boards, including configurations with HDMI 2.1 and HDMI 2.0 connectivity. Combined with advanced EDID management, KAIROS can support custom resolutions up to 9.8 megapixels, making it well suited for LED walls, corporate events, and hybrid production environments.
The update also introduces Snapshot Preview and Snapshot Dissolve, allowing operators to preview and smoothly transition between complex scene layouts before sending them to live outputs. These tools help production teams manage multi-screen presentations with greater confidence and control.
