Roland V-1-4K Turns One 4K Camera Into Multiple Live Production Shots
Share

Creating a professional multi-camera livestream doesn't always require multiple cameras. With 4K Region of Interest (ROI) cropping, the Roland V-1-4K video switcher can turn a single 4K camera feed into several different shots.
Operators can select up to four areas within the camera's image, creating close-ups, wider views, and different perspectives that can be switched during a live production. For example, one camera covering a panel discussion could provide a full-stage shot alongside tighter views of individual speakers.
The V-1-4K also includes five HDMI inputs, built-in scaling, and the V-1-4K Remote app for additional control. For livestreamers, churches, educators, and small production teams, this approach can reduce equipment requirements and setup time while delivering more visual variety to viewers.
