There are a range of cameras that are compatible with SlingStudio.
When connected to a SlingStudio unit via an HDMI cable or a SlingStudio CameraLink device, SlingStudio can record audio and video from compatible HDMI or SDI cameras. (SDI cameras require an SDI-to-HDMI adapter.)
Compatible camera devices include DSLRs, camcorders, cinema cameras, drones, and other video sources such as Windows and Mac computers.
Important note: It is not possible to connect a camera to a SlingStudio unit solely with the camera's built-in Wi-Fi connection. You must connect the camera to the SlingStudio unit either directly with an HDMI cable, or via a SlingStudio CameraLink device.
However, you can connect compatible Apple iPhone and iPod touch devices, as well as compatible Android smartphones, directly to the SlingStudio device. Download the free SlingStudio Capture app, available from the Apple App and the Google Play stores, and install it on your device. Then connect your smartphone's Wi-Fi to the SlingStudio hotspot and launch the Capture app. See above for more information.

Second list: Cameras that customers report they are successfully using with SlingStudio. Note: This information has not been verified by Sling Media.

This table is intended to help you sort out the vast number of available cameras, but it is not intended to be a guarantee of performance.

But please be aware: This information is being provided for reference only. Sling Media has not verified that these cameras operate successfully with SlingStudio, so the "try before you buy" advice applies even more here!
