On the Mac, you can deliver H.264 files for the web and mobile devices directly from Media Composer up to five times faster than software alone, without sacrificing quality. Matrox MAX even lets you deliver directly from Media Composer up to three times faster than if you used Sorenson Squeeze to encode the files.
Matrox MAX for PC
On the PC, you can speed up deliveries of H.264 files for the web, mobile devices, and Blu-ray using Adobe Media Encoder, which you already own if you are using Adobe After Effects for your motion graphic creation. Using Matrox MAX with Adobe Media Encoder lets you deliver H.264 files up to five times faster than if you export from Sorenson Squeeze software.

The unique Matrox HDMI Calibration Utility lets an HDMI monitor perform like a broadcast HD/SD monitor with 10-bit 4:2:2 color precision. This utility walks you through a wizard that will adjust your HDMI monitors; white and black level, white point, adjust and correct gamma, hue and chroma. In the end, turns your HDMI monitor into a professional grade monitor you can trust. This utility is only offered and found on all Matrox I/O devices.

Matrox SDI I/O devices provide HD-SDI closed captioning support using the patent-pending Matrox 4VANC tool. You will no longer need to spend time and money recreating HD captioning data that is typically lost when editing projects. The unique Matrox workflow lets you capture, playback, and preserve closed captioning data while editing. Nothing is destroyed even when trimming or color correcting video clips.
In addition, Matrox has worked with CPC, the closed captioning software leader, to develop an innovative solution that allows the MacCaption software to encode, decode, edit, and create HD and SD closed captioning for use with Matrox SDI I/O devices. They also provide a cost effective way to monitor HD timelines containing closed captioning data on SDI and component SD monitors, while also inserting closed captioning information into line 21 of active video for SD deliverables. You can deliver HD and SD masters containing closed captions simultaneously.
