Video and Streaming in Higher Education
Even before the Covid-19 pandemic and social distancing being put into full effect, video had a major place in higher education.
Live streaming has become more and more necessary with people who must communicate remaining separate. In addition, many studies have been published to show that students often learn better from video materials, that can be rewound and viewed repeatedly.
Streamingmedia.com recently posted a great article concerning video's place in higher education. In it, they also made a point to mention how the industry as a whole has adopted streaming.
Even on a massive level, companies like Netflix and Amazon- to name a few- are utilizing interactive streaming to further their message.
While major companies, governments and corporations are utilizing streaming as the latest and greatest, it is only natural that education do the same.
