Video Destination Expands Live Sports Production with Canon CR-N700 PTZ Cameras

Video Destination is using Canon CR-N700 PTZ cameras to enhance its live streaming workflows for sporting, corporate, and musical events. During an AFL combat sport tournament, the production team integrated the PTZ cameras alongside Canon Cinema EOS systems to capture angles that would be difficult for traditional camera operators to access.

The addition of Canon’s Auto Tracking Application helped reduce operator workload by automatically framing and tracking subjects throughout the event. This allowed the production crew to focus more on switching, streaming, and overall event management while still maintaining dynamic camera coverage.

By combining PTZ automation with cinema-style production workflows, Video Destination expanded its ability to capture fast-moving action while improving production efficiency for live event streaming.
