The Most Comprehensive & Cost-Effective NDI Recording Device
The CUBE R1 is a dedicated, professional IP video recording device. It addresses the inflexibility of traditional recording while enhancing IP-based production workflows' professionalism. The CUBE R1 can record up to 4 channels of 4K video or 9 channels of 1080p HD video simultaneously. It supports NDI high-bandwidth and NDIHX, with storage options including SSD or NAS. Features include playback, one-click NTP time synchronization, transcoding, and more, catering to the needs of professional video production teams.
Support 1/4/9 multi-channel HD synchronous recording and real-time recording and playback function through the LCD screen can be real-time playback of the recorded video files. Plug and play with unlimited recording for easy implementation.
When using NDI high-bandwidth sources, recordings retain Speed HQ encoding, while H.264/265 compressed NDIHX recordings remain likewise. This native source recording technology significantly saves storage space, especially for archiving. Additionally, the patented algorithms support transcoding recording, further reducing storage needs by converting NDI high-bandwidth signals into efficient H.264/265 compressed NDI format.
Industrial-grade NVMe SSD storage is utilized, enabling superb writing speed, extended lifespan, and stable performance, particularly when processing multi-channel NDI sources. Accompanied by various recording strategies, including backup and alternate recording, it further facilitates flexible business scenarios. The hot-swappable feature, combined with a safety lock mechanism, prevents accidental removal and ensured recording stability. To facilitate easy data retrieval, a USB port is included. Users can conveniently take the SSD with them for post-production editing after recording events on-site.
Supports one-click time synchronization through an NTP time server. This capability allows for synchronous recording of multiple video sources, resolving the challenge of maintaining consistent timecodes in multi-camera setups. It streamlines the alignment process for subsequent video editing, thereby enhancing professional workflow efficiency.
