6K ProRes RAW Monitor-Recorder

The Ninja TX GO lets you record high-quality video directly from compatible HDMI cameras. In addition, it supports Apple ProRes RAW up to 6K at 30fps, along with Apple ProRes, Avid DNx and H.265 recording.

You can also choose between CFexpress Type B and USB-C storage. Therefore, you can select the recording media that best fits your camera setup and workflow. The dual USB-C ports also support external USB media, LUT uploads, and compatible audio devices.

Bright 5.2-Inch Touchscreen Display

The Ninja TX GO features a 5.2-inch IPS touchscreen with 1500 nits of brightness. As a result, you can clearly monitor your video both indoors and outdoors, even in bright sunlight.

Furthermore, the display provides 8/10-bit color processing, HDR support, and Rec. 709 color gamut coverage. Calibration support also helps provide accurate and consistent monitoring.

Camera Control and Touch to Focus

With compatible cameras, the Ninja TX GO provides convenient on-screen camera control. Using the touchscreen sliders, you can adjust settings such as:

  • White balance
  • ISO
  • Shutter speed
  • Lens aperture

You can also use touch-to-focus by simply tapping your subject on the Ninja TX GO display. With compatible autofocus systems, the camera can then focus on your selected point of interest.

Camera control is available with many compatible Canon, Fujifilm, Nikon, Panasonic, and Sony mirrorless cameras over USB-C. It also works with Z CAM E2 series cameras when using the required LANC cable.

HDMI 2.0 Input and Output

The Ninja TX GO provides HDMI 2.0 input and output for flexible camera and production workflows. The HDMI input supports up to 6K at 30fps, 4K at 60fps, and 1080p at 120fps, depending on the connected camera.

Additionally, HDMI loop-through lets you send the incoming camera signal to another device. For example, you can connect an external monitor, wireless transmitter, or live streaming encoder.

The HDMI connection can also carry useful camera metadata, including white balance, exposure index, shutter speed, iris, ISO, gamma, and gamut information.

Professional Monitoring Tools

The Ninja TX GO includes a comprehensive set of professional monitoring tools. These tools make it easier to check focus, exposure, framing, and color while you shoot.

You get tools such as:

  • Focus peaking
  • 1:1 and 2:1 zoom
  • Zebras
  • False color
  • ARRI False Color
  • EL Zone
  • Waveform monitor
  • RGB parade
  • Vectorscope
  • Frame guides
  • SMPTE safe areas
  • Grid markers
  • 1D and 3D LUT support
  • Anamorphic de-squeeze

Therefore, the Ninja TX GO can work as more than just an external display. Instead, it becomes a powerful monitoring tool for professional video production.

LUT, HDR and Color Support

The Ninja TX GO supports select Log formats from cameras including Sony, ARRI, JVC, RED, Fujifilm, Nikon, Panasonic, and Canon.

You can also load custom 3D LUTs using compatible .cube files. In addition, the monitor supports HDR conversion and monitoring for Log, HLG, PQ, and Dolby Vision workflows.

As a result, filmmakers can preview footage with the desired look while maintaining greater control over exposure and color.

NDI 6 Streaming and Camera-to-Cloud Workflows

The Ninja TX GO is designed for modern connected production workflows. Built-in NDI 6 support allows the monitor-recorder to integrate with compatible NDI production systems.

In addition, the Ninja TX GO supports camera-to-cloud workflows. You can upload recorded video files directly to the cloud through a wireless connection. Supported services include ATOMOSphere, Adobe Frame.io, and Dropbox.

The included ATOMOSphere membership provides 20GB of free cloud storage. Plus, Wi-Fi 6E connectivity helps provide fast wireless performance for supported workflows.

The Ninja TX GO also supports over-the-air firmware updates. Therefore, you can keep the device up to date without complicated update procedures.

Flexible Power Options

The Ninja TX GO offers several power options for both studio and mobile production. You can use an NP-F L-series battery, an AC power solution, or USB-C power delivery.

The USB-C connection supports 30W PD power, making it easy to power the monitor-recorder from compatible USB-C power sources.

Secure Locking Cable System

For professional production environments, secure connections are essential. That is why the Ninja TX GO includes Atomos' locking cable system.

The included brackets help secure connected HDMI and USB-C cables. In addition, the included USB-C locking cable helps prevent accidental cable disconnects during production.

Built-In Tally Light

The Ninja TX GO also includes a built-in tally light for live production and recording workflows.

When the Ninja TX GO is recording or on-air, the tally light provides a clear visual indicator. A red light indicates recording, while green indicates preview or standby. As a result, talent and production crews can quickly see the current status of the camera and monitor-recorder.

Compact Professional Production Tool

Overall, the Atomos Ninja TX GO combines monitoring, recording, camera control, streaming, and cloud connectivity in one compact device. Whether you are filming with a mirrorless camera, building a professional video rig, or working in a live production environment, the Ninja TX GO provides a flexible workflow.
