iKan introduced two new HD LCD monitors, their biggest and smallest yet. First for the big one - a whopping 17 inches! The new V17 monitor from ikan is an effective, overall solution for studio and field production. Boasting a 1920 x 1080 resolution, the V17 has three LED color tally light indicators (Red, Green, Amber) as well as HDMI, S-Video, composite and SD/HD component input/outputs. The V17 includes safe area guides for both 16:9 and 4:3, as well as multi-system usage for both PAL and NTSC.
The new V5600 is a 5.6-inch LCD HDMI monitor that is the perfect size for new Hi-Def enabled DSLR cameras and smaller HD camcorders. With the crisp 1024 x 600 resolution panel, critical focus is achievable in a compact unit weighing under one pound. YUV and AV inputs, in addition to the HDMI input, give flexibility in connecting to your device. Switchable aspect ratios and safe area guides make the V5600 a necessary addition to any electronic field production kit.
