High-Density SMPTE ST 2110 IP Streaming and Production
The AJA BRIDGE LIVE IP is a high-density, multichannel SMPTE ST 2110 IP video gateway designed for broadcast-quality, low-latency live streaming, remote production, video contribution, and IP video workflows. Developed by AJA and Comprimato, BRIDGE LIVE IP provides bidirectional ST 2110 encoding, decoding, and transcoding for demanding professional broadcast and media production environments.
With support for up to 4x UHD or 16x HD streams, BRIDGE LIVE IP provides the performance and flexibility needed for live sports, concerts, remote production (REMI), cloud contribution, OTT delivery, remote collaboration, and multi-format video distribution.
The compact 1RU form factor, dual power supplies, redundant networking options, and three-year warranty make BRIDGE LIVE IP a reliable solution for mission-critical live video applications.
Bidirectional SMPTE ST 2110 IP Video
BRIDGE LIVE IP supports real-time, bidirectional conversion between SMPTE ST 2110 and compressed IP video formats, allowing production teams to efficiently move video between professional broadcast networks, contribution systems, streaming platforms, and cloud workflows.

BRIDGE LIVE IP for Remote Production and REMI
BRIDGE LIVE IP is designed for Remote Production (REMI) workflows where multiple video sources need to be transported between production facilities while maintaining synchronization.
Independent SMPTE ST 2110 sources can be transported between BRIDGE LIVE IP systems while preserving their synchronous relationship. This makes BRIDGE LIVE IP well suited for site-to-site production, remote sports broadcasting, live events, and distributed production environments.
BRIDGE LIVE IP can operate simultaneously as both an encoder and decoder, allowing bidirectional workflows between production sites.
Synchronous Multi-Channel Transport
Synchronous multi-channel transport allows multiple ST 2110 signals to be timestamped, transported, and delivered in lockstep. Multiple BRIDGE LIVE IP systems can also be scaled together to support larger distributed production environments.
For cloud workflows, BRIDGE LIVE IP can send synchronized signals to a Comprimato Live Transcoder cloud instance for delivery to CDNs, streaming platforms, and other cloud services.

SRT helps maintain high-quality video delivery over public internet connections while providing encryption, low latency, and reliable transport. BRIDGE LIVE IP also supports SRT Network Bonding, enabling redundant stream paths over an ISP for resilient delivery.

Optional licenses expand BRIDGE LIVE IP with additional professional compression workflows.

Synchronous UHD ST 2110 Over the Internet
For long-distance production workflows, BRIDGE LIVE IP can convert SMPTE ST 2110 production feeds to redundant SRT streams for transport over the public internet. A receiving BRIDGE LIVE IP system can then convert the SRT streams back to ST 2110 while maintaining redundancy.
This approach enables reliable UHD IP video transport between remote production facilities without requiring dedicated private network infrastructure.
